I am trying to get lighter, especially since I want to do the Border Challange (Solo) next year and I need to be able to single portage over the Grand Portage.

My back up paddle is light weight, but not my primary which is a wooden Bending Branches brand.

Thanks I got their shortest bent shaft for one of my sons.

I am going to dress it up with a gold dancing loon decal. He'll love it. I'll try to keep it hidden until the next paddle trip.

I thought I'd give one of my old Zav's to my nephew. I thought seriously about getting a new one for each of us, however; our hot water heater decided to give up the ghost on Christmas. Brain was screaming "Buy two" while the bank account shouted "Buy none." So, ever the one to compromise......

Disregard above post, I just called them and they confirmed that the special is no longer available, they were suprised when I told them it was still up on their web-site.

Received my 2 paddles today. Whatever the blems are, they must be really subtle. Great deal

They sold out in a few hours. If you clicked on the “look closer” button for each product at the bottom of the page it stated they were sold out.

Maybe it was when I ordered but somewhere they stated they were shut down all last week and opened back up on Tuesday or Wednesday this week, and the paddle should not ship until this week. Surprised I got mine so quick, I think it shipped yesterday.

Just got it. The "Blem" must be the imperfect glueing of the handle? I wouldn't have noticed had I not been LOOKING for the blemish. The handle actually feels better than my Zav handle for some reason? Well pleased!

Got mine with bag. Can't really see any blemishes other than what appears to be maybe a little excess adhesive on the bent shaft paddle where the shaft and blade are joined.

The bag with the two paddles was a heck of a deal!

Got mine yesterday afternoon, I can see two minor blems but a geek of a deal for 75 bucks including shipping. I now have my primary and spare paddles that weigh less than 2 pounds combined.
I'm getting lighter.

I got mine the other day, I ordered two as well. I got a 50” elbow for my dad and a 54” elbow for my wife and I’m havibg a hard time finding the reason these were “factory seconds”. Looks like a steal of a deal to me. Wish I would have bought one for myself!

Forgot to mention one of my paddles had a small "Made in China" sticker so Wenonah may still have profited on this sale.

Thought I'd chime in since I just received my 2 paddles today. I am very pleased with them ... they are really nice and light! Bought them for the grandkids but may have to give one a try myself :-)
