She has some miles on her. How does it handle the waves on the big lake?

I had four of them in the late '70's. I recall they handled big water as good as anything I've paddled since. One thing I don't recall is them being so heavy. Haha. Rock solid boats.

Reminds me of a book called "21,000 miles in a canoe" about a man canoeing with a small outboard motor from Florida to Alaska and back.

I used a 17' alumcraft for years big heavy stable wide flat bottom think the model we had weighted 90lbs.

Great canoe if one didn't have to carry far.
