Howdy!

A few folks have asked me for this recently, so I figured Id post it to the forums in case its helpful to anyone else out there.

This is a google doc I made to help in the trip planning process, and have been tweaking over the past many years. It has multiple tabs, to help provide some ideas for where to start with various parts of planning. Its not perfect, its just my starting point and helps me stay organized.

Basic BWCA Trip Planning Spreadsheet

If you want to use it, feel free to make a copy, which should be an option up in the File menu at the top left.

Tabs -
Entry Points - includes some very basic information about most of the Entry Points. its filterable, sortable, ect.
Route Details - some basic trip ideas, distance calculations - I use this to put together some ideas for my group each summer
Duos - Basic canoe partner information, gear matrix for some of the big stuff
Equipment - this is my primary packing list - been adding and removing over the years
Food - Basic meal plan / menu that we've used. My wife has a library of amazing camping meals and we add and subtract each year as needed

A bit of off-season organizing you've done. Nice job. Saved it to my desktop and found it compatible with PlanMaker (SoftMaker Office 2016 for Windows)
