Tonight I spent some time over at Beaver Island Brewing, pouring beers in support of our youth mission trip--the brew house allows charities to come in and take tips while working behind the bar.

I had been there all of thirty seconds when someone called out my name and identified himself as Moosewatcher! He had come out to support our cause. I was so happy to meet him and enjoyed our conversation over a beer.

We should really start up a St. Cloud area gathering. I'd be glad give it a push if others are in the area and would like to start something up.

If you are in our area (I'm looking your way, ducks) let's try to do something fun here. Beaver Island would be a great place to spend a little time and make some new friends.

I met moosewatcher on a chance encounter a few years ago and I echo everything you stated about him.

I enjoy craft beer and have been meaning to hit Beaver Island for a while, pastorjsackett and dicecupmaker are characters I'd like to meet....... if I can ever find a day/night I'm not chasing ducklings to their activities I'm in!

We really gotta try to get this done.

Yes, it is always great to meet people on this board. It was a pleasure meeting Pastor Sackett and talking to him in person. Been off the board the last few days. Grandkids etc. and hockey day in St Cloud.

I know there are quite a few people on the board from the area. I'm with PJS and Ducks. Beaver Island is a good place to meet. They don't carry food but plenty of access to places close by with in two blocks and they allow you to bring food in. They are open Wed. thru Sunday. Wednesdays are probaly out because they have a charity night every Wednesday.
Any interest from anyone else? Dicecup, PJS, Ducks and myself would be a start.
