I'm looking to dress up a few of my spoons, and am thinking something like this might work.

What do you call these? Dressed hooks?

Anyone have a link to where I can buy this? I'm thinking blue/white or red/white or black/orange

Thanks!

Squid Skirt:&

Good looking set up on the Cleo.

We put these in front of Ballyhoo when trolling for Dolphin. On the Siwash hook they will have a tendency to slide down the hook as they are hollow. You can use a tiny electrical cable tie or a dab of super glue to keep them in place. Whats nice about them is that they are super light and likely will not effect the action of the spoon much.

They are also called "Hoochie" (Octopus skirts) when used for trolling lake trout etc. in fresh water and commonly fished behind a dodger.

You could omit the snap / swivel and attach the hook directly to the spoon but I sort of like what you have pictured.........it adds some length to the offering. I like it.

As mastertangler stated, it is a Frankenbait made up of different parts, a squid skirt, a Siwash hook, attached to a Little Cleo with a snap (the name/style escapes me)

you can buy the skirts at Cabela's

search squid skirts lots of colors

rigging them to a spoon or retrofitting an old Mepp's type spinner would be pretty easy.

There are also a lot of trebles you can buy dressed with feathers or fur. Like you'd get on a Mepps or similar lure.
