Hey Folks,

I have decided to finally start targeting walleye through the ice.

Looking for advice on 2 rods.

I’d like to have 1 set up for dead sticking. The other used for jigging.

Not looking to break the bank.

Thanks,

Mr. B

For a jigging rod, I like the St. Croix rods. A little pricey, but very good rods.

I'd suggest just heading to your local outdoor store and giving them all a try. I have accumulated a fair number of them, and I honestly can't really tell a difference by brand. Just get one in a length and action that appeals to you after handling them for yourself. Just my .02.
