Booked EP 39, Baker Lake for June 18th.
Mjmkjun, and I will be going together each in our Solo's. He is just going in for a couple days. I plan on looping up through Cherokee and back out on Sawbill, for a total of 5-7 days, not sure yet.

I got a permit for Baker on the same day. Maybe I will see you there! All I know is that I am entering there. Once on the water, I plan to wing it for close to a week.

Also got an August 13 entry at Missing Link, and a June 3rd through Moose. Going to take the kids along for that one!

Me too! I grabbed June 9th for Stuart. 19 is quickly becoming my favorite EP. I don't mind long portages one bit. I also tried to get July 12th for Pine and it was gone already... at 9:05, wow! I took EP 69 for that day instead.

What a coincidence, three BWCA members taking up the three permits for that EP on the same day.
Lets stay in touch and see if we can meet some how.
mjmkjun and I will be camping at Sawbill CG the Sunday nite before June 18th.

We were typing our fingers "to the bone" on January 31st!

We had 100+ permits to apply for and 7 "manned" computers/laptops. Got all the permits in just a few minutes over 1 hour! And only had to go to a second or third choice of entry/date twice!

Hope everyone else did well too!

Sounds good. I planned on staying at Sawbill the night before as well, so chances are very good we'll run into each other! First time going in at Baker so I am pretty excited. May end up being a solo too. Good times!

Good times! Dave at Hungry Jack told me that there were 1,700 permits issued in the first 40 minutes. Do you guys have a source for that type of data not generally available to the public? Or, maybe he had just picked this info up in a random conversation with USFS folks?..

Moose River North on May 26 for us. Can't wait.

I always like to surf a little bit and see how each site is doing for permits. Certain areas go fast-like Little Gabbro and Mudro and Clearwater by Gunflint.

It's been another one on my long list of entries to try, but it seems to have become vastly more popular in the last year or two.
