Good evening everyone,

I have come to ready appreciate this website. I have had so many questions answered and enjoyed reading the many post. It helps keep me sane while wait for my next trip. I love the BWCA and can’t seem to get enough of it.

So my questions are:
Does the bwca.com have a headquarters?
Is there a place in person to buy bwca.com items?
How can I thank the folks (board directors, moderators, web managers) who make this website happen?

Hey CanoeViking,

Some answers for you.... The site admin, Adam, rightfully doesn't publish his home address on the site. In fact, when you received your decals for being a supporter you may have noticed the return address was a PO box. Not a bad idea, if you ask me. The headquarters is a super secret undisclosed location somewhere in Minnesota. :)

You can get site merch by clicking on the Store button on the horizontal toolbar at the top of every page, or by clicking here

If you wanted to send Adam a note, you can always use the handy form on the Contact Us page, or you can email info@bwca.com, or simply start a new post or reply to this one and tell Adam & all the mods how awesome you think they're doing and what a great site this is. THANKS GUYS! You take waay too much of my idle time at work. =)

Paddle on & keep it open side up!

Other than being a member here and in no official capacity I'll give it a shot.
"Does the bwca.com have a headquarters? " None specific I have found in 12 years of membership.
"Is there a place in person to buy bwca.com items?" Yes but it's called Donations
"How can I thank the folks (board directors, moderators, web managers) who make this website happen?" Simply participate???? The longer your here the more you will learn. Most moderators and Adam keep pretty quiet and let BWCA.COM run itself. But it is "privately owned" if that's a good description, and controversy that is decisive is not allowed, as well as "personal attacks".

I've been on other BWCA/Quetico boards, this one is different. More like a family/friendly association with similar interests. Been rather anti-social all my life till I started hanging around with these folks!

If you come to Minneapolis to one of the Wing night weekends, or a Wing night you just might see the man behind the curtain.

I've only seen the big head flanked by fire. I have, however, been to bwca.com world headquarters. It's nice. A little smaller than I imagined though. Photo below.

It's okay Butthead. Our great leader seems to not be very social, either. When he does show up I hear he comes in disguise or hands out gifts and then disappears back into the woods. I know we all love and appreciate him and like others we love and appreciate we don't always let them know enough.

THANKS to all and to CanoeViking for reminding us to say THANKS.

Good morning,

Thanks for sharing folks. I had never heard anything about those behind it. I agree, I do not want to disclose Adams address, I just thought there might be a small storeside/headquarters somewhere.

I asked about the store part because I have seen several pictures of mugs and some other merchandise not in the store on this website.

Participate I will continue to do. I like the atmosphere on the forum (which is why this is the only forum I've ever been part of).

I will try to make it to one of the Wingnites, hopefully well have a north metro one soon.

Till then I will start another post and say thanks!

"I will try to make it to one of the Wingnites, hopefully well have a north metro one soon."

Pick a date, time, place. Folks will come or not. Know I will try!

Ben, Adam is about as anti social as me (could be much less). He's even spent a few mini-wingnites with me in Kenosha!
