Spent a bit-O-time at REI today, comments in other threads made this obvious. Saw something that made me smile. MSR has come out with, Trailshot based Trail Base filter system
Something I put together last summer and have used enough to be very happy with it's functions, Trailshot thread
A bit more expensive than what I assembled but confirmed my own intuition.

Based on your earlier review I scored a Trailshot (only used in squeeze mode) and I was very happy with it. Quick and simple. And when its no longer quick it's simple to flush and make quick again.
