Heading in through sawbill next week, looking to do some fishing. Mostly targeting walleye and pike. Was either going to go through the fire lakes (east) or the lady lakes (west). Anyone have advice on where to fish in these areas? Good depth? Anything is helpful. Thanks!

I have not fished any of the lakes to the west but I have ice fished Smoke and Sawbill. We caught a handful of walleye on Smoke but I think the biggest one was around 12". We mainly fished the break on the east side of the lake in about 10' of water.
On Sawbill we caught 5 from 16" to 19" just out from the bay that the Kelso river runs into in about 15' of water. The daylight hours were incredibly slow. Basically everything was caught within and hour of sunrise and sunset. I don't believe any of us caught any pike.
