Tuscarora Outfitters: "Found: Car Keys on the Round Lake Road (Entry points 51 or 52)
Give Tuscarora Lodge a call at 218-388-2221"
That was me! Set them on the hood of my car to make sure I didn't lock myself out while the AC cooled off the car for the dog, then I drove off! I just spoke to Ada. Heard they made it all the way to the intersection before they fell off, and I never noticed them! What a way to end a trip. Thankfully my house key was not on there so I managed to get in last night when I got home.
Thanks Andy! You guys are the greatest.

Lost: Very nice black pocket knife, most likely fell out of my pocket on a portage between Little Gunflint Lake and Little North Lake, North Lake and South Lake, or one of the portages on Rat Lake. It was a gift I was given that day and I would very much like to have it back.

Just got back from a great trip from EP19 to EP16. Unfortunately my axe fell off my pack somewhere between EP19 and Stuart Lake (I am guessing at the beginning or end of one of the first few portages before contest lake. Weather was too shifty to go back looking for it, and i didn't want to derail the trip the next day so we carried on without it. It is a Council Tool Boys axe, 28" hickory handle, painted red head, with leather axe mask. Pretty bummed about losing it, if you find it let me know. Cheers guys. Adam.

Was just going to post a note about your lost ax from your email you sent me tonight! Then saw you had already done it. Will let you know if I hear anything and I know if anyone from this board sees it, you'll get it back because this is a great & helpful bunch of people!

timandrews: "I lost an orange waterproof bag (maybe left behind at a portage site) containing my wallet, passport and phone. Desperate to get it back! Lost around 7/7. Thanks!"
Good description of what you lost, but where were you, what entry point or what lake could it have been?

Thanks Lynn! I have no doubt if someone here finds it, I will hear about it. Great group of people on here. If someone else finds and keeps it, then hopefully they enjoy using that axe as much as I did!

I keep checking this post hoping that timandrews has gotten good news that someone has found his orange waterproof bag containing his wallet, passport, keys, etc. believed lost in upper Kahshahpiwi on 7/7.
On my Quetico trips, I was the designated keeper of my husband's credit card, driver's license and vehicle key as well as my own driver's license and a bit of cash. I always made sure that he and other trip mates knew where I was putting the zippered bag containing them which I secured into my main pack.

Found something that belongs to"Jim". It was on a bench on Dumbell Lake. We camped there on our way to Kawishiwi during the last week in June (June 25/26. Jim, it's your knife. Give me the details and will ship.

Lost - $100 reward
My 12 year old son lost a knife and sheath somewhere, on July 17th, probably on a portage or a landing, he thinks either between Jasper and Kingfisher or Kingfisher and Ogish. Would have posted earlier but just got back today.
It's an old fixed blade knife, handmade, in a leather sheath, handle made from deer antler, maybe a 3-4 inch blade at the most. Sentimental value as was made by his grandfather.
If anybody can finds it and contacts me, you're my new hero. Thanks.

Anyone recognize this picture/lady? One of my customer's found a Blackberry phone, really mucky & wet. I checked out the phone & it is totally garbage but I was able to get the micro SD card to open some pictures (& some country ring tones).
This picture shows it is from 2010 and I think there are a few on the card from 2015.
Thought someone might like their pictures back even if the phone is no good.

Left behind at Alpine Lake site #346 - piece of cord w/a S-Biner, still hanging on the ancient nail (I think it was a nail) in one of the trees by the firepit. About perfect height for a gravity filter setup. If you find it, enjoy. It's been a good piece of gear & I happened to have spare cord & biner so it's already been replaced.

Metal pot and chair left at the south end of the portage from S. Kawishiwi River to Clear Lake. Looked to have been there a while, but we weren't able to pack them out with us. If someone is traveling through the area in the future and sees that they are still there it would be great to remove them before they become litter.

Lost Sept 8, 2018 black waterproof fanny pack containing Nikon Coolpix camera + extra batteries & memory cards at 1st portage (50 r) from Snowbank L. to Boot L. I stuffed it into the bushes so I wouldn't step on it while portaging other items, then forgot it. Please contact Doug, 651-439-8751.

Doug, glad you followed my link to this site because I know this is probably one of the best places for help of any kind. You also have a much better description of the camera, case & where! :-) Good luck and when you get it back, I'd love to see your pictures!

Found: Nice fixed-blade knife. 4" blade, no sheath. Wooden handle. Leather lanyard. Found along Conk-Jean portage on 9/5/18 beside substantial rock face, as though someone might have stumbled and lost it (I've stumbled there myself). Very sharp. My puppy brought it out of the woods by the lanyard. Describe it more particularly and it's yours!

I came out of EP 22-23 on 09/16/18 - Mudro Lake. There were 3 packs sitting next to my truck and no other vehicles parked on that side of my truck. . They had definitely been there overnight with the rain because they were still wet. They are at the Sheriff's Office in Ely. Hope they get to their owner!
