I'm thinking about packing my fly rod when I go up in September, I'll be hauling my 7-9wt rig I use around here (in Iowa) for bass, walleye (yes, I said walleye), and northern. While the snow is still flying and I have time to spend at the vice, which flies do you guys who fly fish often up there recommend I try out?? I'll be up there at the very end of September this year.

I like the all the usual suspects at this time of year. Streamers, black rabbit fur lures that look like a leech, even some crazy Charlie’s. here is my arsenal that I bring.
