That is a great photo OneMatch. I always like to climb up and get an overall view of the camps I’m at too. It looks like a nice area I want to visit someday. Are you near Big Bend N.P.? Has the weather been good?

Great shot and thanks for sharing... looks like an awesome place! I like the high vantage view of camp as well.
I see lots of gear laying out on rocks, did you get wet?

I did that many many moons ago.............early 80's. Went to Big Bend many times with the Scouts, when we were stationed at Ft Hood.

Only the feet. Nobody swamped but came close a couple times. Lots of class I and II rapids

Cool picture! It looks so different than the country I've paddled, I can't help but keep clicking on it to see that view again.

Loved the group pic is saw on FB of everyone "paddling" the canoe that apparently ran aground. Some real notables on that trip!
