I try to follow the rules. But sometimes it gets difficult.

Like this one: Never block, cook, or sleep on a portage trail.

Nope, not me... But I wouldn't hesitate... I usually take a nap somewhere after cooking a nice meal. Haha.

If you're gonna break the rules, why stop at just one? It looks like it would be a good spot for a nap.

Yes, Mad River Destiny. High mileage, rode hard and put away wet. Sitting across the portage between Knife and Sema. We didn't know, but at that time we were being raided by a bear back at camp on Knife!

I have pictures of said rule breakers, but we have a rule. What happens in the BWCA stays in the BWCA.

Great point - as a group we generally review each others photos after a trip and decide which ones definitely can not be posted anywhere.

I forgot what this thread was about, and I was kind of scared to click on it because of the title. Hahahahaha

Yeah, I posted a picture of a float plane fishing by us in woodland caribou. I didn't think anything of it and posted it as I thought it was cool. The park personal (Claire) saw it. Tracked down the number and gave them a stiff warning I guess.

Not much nefarious activity but occasional nude bathing which is not a pretty sight when your crew is a bunch of mid 50 to 70 yo guys.
