Yea the 20% off started today.
Is REI doing okay? Normally they send you the dividend along with a big sale flyer. This year they sent the dividend notice several weeks in advance of the 20% off sale and there really is no sale this year.
Just noticed they timing and sales were different this year.
Also at Campsaver.com they match REI’s sale except you don’t need to be a member. 20% off one item in outlet and regular price.

Applied mine to some new boots. Started with the Keen Targhee Vents, but after wearing them for a couple miles hiking I returned them. Really uncomfortable on the bridges of my feet. Back to Merrell Moab Mid Vents.

Pretty sure they are doing well. Posted $2.56 billion revenue in 2016; that is a lot of Mountain House meals!
Here is an interesting article from the Atlantic published about a year ago that talks about their business model and how they are doing quite well in an era where other similar places are going belly up. REI Business model

Well that was fun. I purchased an MSR Windburner stove system at 20% off and applied my dividend to the purchase. Looking forward to more adventures!

It's a sweet system. Which size did you get? We got it with the 1.8L pot last year, before they redesigned it. Probably for stability, tho we never gave that much of a thought. This year, they also came out with a frypan for Windburner with a nonstick ceramic surface and I'll be replacing our original one with that. (Want to buy my Windburner fry pan? Half price, used twice. Works great for fish, just not as easy to make perfect pancakes.)

No dividends for me, but yesterday, Sunday, was an expensive day for me.
Finally completely self-outfitting this year, and yesterday ordered:
1) MSR Pocket Rocket
2) GSI Outdoors Destination Kitchen set (utensils)
3) GSI Pinnacle Camper Cookset
4) MSR Elixir 4 Tent
So my wallet is about $450 lighter. Oh well, the kids can wear their old shoes another year or two, even if they are two sizes too small!
