So I received a Bowfin 1 from Tarptent a few days ago. I've only set it up and inspected the workmanship and roominess. I'm very impressed. Construction appears to be very good and Setup was a snap. It took less than 5 minutes on the first effort. That time can be cut in half with no sweat. The fly and tent go up together. They send you a link to a video ahead of time that throughly explains the process. My only complaint is it has a full length sleeve for the single pole. But with that design I don't think it can be avoided. The ends have a cleaver small pole attachment called PitchLocs that are used to make that area rigid. It's very easy to use, and makes the tent freestandingish and adds a venting area. 2 stakes move the "winged" floor and the rain fly out to the sides. This gives the floor area almost as much space as many 2 person tents. The Bowfin also has vents on top and the ends with a simple closure strap if needed. Airflow looks like it won't be a problem with 2 vestibules that can be opened or closed to your liking. I opted for the half solid tent wall rather than full mess. At a svelte 2lbs 6 oz and paying just over 3 bills this is nice for a handmade in the USA tent. I'll be putting it through real world solo canoe and Bikepacking situations starting next month.

I look forward to hearing about it. I've been looking into them for soloing when I can't use a hammock.

Looks good!
Have had some interesting solo tents over time, I like them and do not mind the solo size at all.
Had, Alps Mystique 1, Mountain Hardwear Wing 1 and Stilleto 1, BA CopperSpur UL1.
Currenly, BA FlyCreek Platinum2 (this one is a 2 person but real small), and a BSI Chinook 1.
If you ever camp at Bong or S Kettle Morrain let me know, I'd like to get a close look.

Butthead I'm just 25 minutes south of Bong. Once we get an actual Spring day I can set it up and you're welcome to come over and take a look.
