On my fall trips it seems I always run into schools of big Perch when I am targeting Walleye in my favorite fall fishing spots . I will catch both in the same spots all fall. My question is where do the big Perch hang out in in the summer season? I catch lots of them in summer when I’m fishing for Walleye, but not many of the big ones that I catch in the fall. Any tips ??

No idea, since I haven't caught a single one! But, they are the best in the frying pan and would love to catch a mess of them. How about early spring (mid to late May)?

Seems my most productive spots for the Perch are 7 to 20 feet of water with structure and current.

I think he means on what lake? Off what point? Between what two islands and what time of day using what lures?
Then - he'll get back to you. In a couple years. ;)

We could do a numbers trade. You could give me GPS numbers and I can give you lottery numbers! The proverbial win (maybe) win situation.
All kidding aside big perch are one of my favorite fish. I have never caught jumbos consistently in summer though so I'm not the guy to ask. My guess is they go deep. I think they get fussy to. I have read where guys on Lake Michigan go with crayfish exclusively.

Ok MT, here’s a clue. The area that gives up the most Jumbo Perch in the fall, is also a spot that has produced 5 Walleyes over 10 pounds for my group. It is located in a very busy part of a lake that is close, but not in the boundary waters. I have heard boaters that pass by and see us anchored here that we must be fishing for Bluegills, or Rock Bass. It does not look like a Walleye hot spot, but it is indeed. It is the narrowest point of “oak Narrows”, next to a giant green frog.... I’m sure many on these boards know exactly where this spot is.....

Heck if I know.......I'm not from around those parts. Narrows? Fall? Big Walleye? Must be some current involved.
The Giant Green Frog is probably a big plastic advertisement of some sort or a billboard. Either of which has become an icon of sorts.
Your good spot is hiding in plain view ;-)
