Mid June walleye chasing, what is your preference, twister tail or paddle tail for most vertical and swimming jig presentations?

I prefer twister tails and double twister tails in the 3 to 4 inch size .

Heck if I know. Who knows what a fish wants and when it wants it. It would be interesting to fish side by side with one guy throwing a curly tail and another guy throwing a paddle tail.

I would probably separate them by speed. Fishing slower I would definitely go with a curly tail and fishing faster I would lean towards a paddle tail.

I would add one of my secret baits to the jig.

Paddle tail for swimming, twister tail for vertical jigging.

paddle tail. One that really paddles, though. The B-fisn-n ones are good. Stiff ones are bad.

B-fish-n tackle ringworms and paddle tails have been proven walleye bait for me on the Mississippi River for years. I may just have to bring both. I appreciate all the responses.

Bob.
