Week long canoe trip, how do you store your leeches? Any tips to keep them living longer?

brother,

This is a pretty common question. I find that leeches are very easy to keep alive and lively.

Here is a recent thread that discusses ideas:

BB,

I typically store my leeches in a dedicated leech Nalgene (32oz). Change the water regularly (3-4 times/day). Leeches are a hardy creatures, and will outlive your trip. Keep them out of the sun, and you'll be just fine.

safe travels.
