Anyone ever heard of or seen one of these?
I found it for sale but with almost zero information.
Picture says Fibre Made in Douglas Michigan.
It has been stored in a climate controlled environment, unused for 20 years.
She says it is 16'
The lady does not have any information as she is selling it for the municipality.
It is a couple hour drive for me to go see it so I have not put my hands on it.
I will say it looks pretty anyways.
This is all for photos
Thanks in advance for any info.

Ask for the Hull Identification Number (HIN). The HIN will be on the starboard stern of the hull (back right). That will give you the manufacturer, model year, and the month and year constructed. It will also give you the model number, though info on that may be harder to determine.
My guess is that it is a "chopper gun" constructed model, made with fibers rather than cloth. They are heavy, but may be an ok entry level boat. My first canoe of my very own was a Sears chopper gun. It got me on the water and have me many great memories.
I would not pay more than $200 for such a canoe.

She said there is a tag on it and she would take a pic and send it to me today.
I don't want a heavy boat, I need something I can load and unload by myself to use here at home mostly for fishing and river canoeing. I have seen a few Old Towns that weigh in anywhere from 60-85 lbs. There is an Orvis I have been watching but the price is a bit steep right now.
Current price on the canoe in this topic is $275. Started at $350 - 3 days ago.
