It's the 108th day of January.....

I've been turkey hunting since monday.. in N.W. ILLINOIS
Silly me.....
I forgot to bring my white camo...

Never hunted in the spring with this much snow....
If anyone in Pennsylvania gets Punxsutawney Phil in the cross hairs of your 22/250.... I would make rodent soup out of him...

Glad I ended up with 3rd season tags! Hope with the little warm up this weekend you have some luck! Next week isn't looking to bad so far keeping fingers crossed!

Coldest start to April here in 135 years!

I can relate in Friday of last wk we had tornado sirens a screaming. Saturday horrible thunderstorms and Sunday it snowed in pope county, southern Illinois. First year in 10+ that I have t shot a bird. Weather was horrific

I hear ya. My bibs are reversible snow camo. But I think a lot of these birds are still hold up in their winter flocks. But 4th season here in north iowa should be good. lol

Ice is still 33" thick on lakes around Minocqua. Better sharpen the auger blades for the May 5 fishing opener in Sconnie. Still got the June 10 entry permits for Sawbill. Planning on bringing paddles but the snowshooz will be ready too.
