Basswood - it sure reminds me of the site above Lower Basswood Falls... but you said facing west, this would be east. Beautiful shot... the dog adds a nice touch too :-)

Night photo? I tried but it didn't turn out.

The lakes around it get more notoriety. Not sure if this an east or west as far as location. Can access all directions.
