Hey fellas, I’m heading to poplar lake off the gunflint end of may. Any advice on which Lake to portage to for walligators?

I have always had great success heading down to Vista Lake. The southern campsite is the best on the lake, and the islands near it are great for walleye. Horseshoe & Caribou will be really busy that weekend, and would keep that in mind.
I am assuming you purchased a permit for EP#47?
