In your opinion do you see the extended forecast having temps in Ely at or above normal for the forseeable future ?

Just got done working 15 out of 17 days and even us weather folk need a break. I would post some encouraging maps that show above avg temps for May for the Ely area, but am shot from work. Other signs also agree with this and I also do (did). If you read some of my posts on the "Late Ice Out" thread you will see even back then I thought May should/would be abv avg.

So yes, to your question. A mild concern I would have at this time is lack of precip - non greenery for foliage = perhaps fire concerns in a few weeks.

My break is over. And now it's time to be off work and go chase tornadoes....

Important update on your question will be out tomorrow. I will post what I can.

Thanks for the response and I apologize if all the weather questions get annoying. I sell cars for a living and the last thing I want to talk about out of work is what the market price is for a 2012 Camry. Haha.
