AnnRav: "I have an Old Town Canadienne, 89, 17ft, fiberglass, mahogany/ash/brass trim, wicker seats. It's been rarely used in a sandy bottom lake, north of Hibbing. Stored in garage. I'm thinking of selling and know thy are considered a cult classic, but how much is it worth? "
This has come up before. It largely depends on what is out there and is comparable. I found this thread and think it is applicable.
Canadienne Pricing
IIRC, I paid $750 for a kevlar Canadienne last year.

Agreed, it depends on what the market will bare. The Canadienne canoe is a nice model with pretty lines. $750 would be a fair price but on the high side. Owning a canoe is never a good investment.
I once read a quote somewhere on a wall. The happiest day of a sailors life is when he buys his first boat. The next happiest day is when he sells it.
The peak buying time for a canoe is Feb through June. I always said that you can't give away a canoe in July or August.

The canadienne is a great canoe. In fiberglass it is monsterously heavy. I’ve never weighed mine but I am certain it comes in at at least 80 pounds. For bw trips a bit above acceptable. For rivers it is great, overbuilt, durable and uniquely qualified for grade 3+ rapids with gear. A limited market for certain, although it is also a great stable fishing canoe. The previous owner of my canadienne had used it on three trips to Hudson’s bay. Hardly a scratch from those trips. I’d go for $600 and expect offers much lower.
