Hi: I've been looking for a Bell Magic and found a 2004, it's Kevlar and I'm guessing it has a gel coat because it's the Almond color? I have not seen it yet but the owner mentioned that it has it's share of bottom scratches. I was wondering if I could snap a 4" waterline and coat the bottom with epoxy and graphite powder? Is the epoxy compatible with the gel coat material? THANKS!!!
I used epoxy to repair my Magic 20+ years ago. It has held up well and is structurally sound. The only problem is with time the epoxy has turned a dirty milky color. If you are using epoxy to make it look good it will for a while then it will slowly turn ugly.
The question of the day is Freedom or Socialism??
