We're heading to bwca this weekend for 3 days 2 nights. Traveling from hungry Jack Lake going to Duncan, south Lake, rose Lake to Daniels Lake. Any thoughts on how the fishing is on or near these lakes??? It's our 1St trip EVER to the bwca. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

We did the same trip a few years back over Memorial Day.Duncan was great for smallies. Coffee scented Tube jigs were the group’s go to. At dusk, top water is great. We had a lot of success near the campsite by the portage to Moss. East side of Duncan was good too...fish downed trees. Duncan didn’t produce the Lakers we had hoped but Moss did...stinky night crawlers on jig heads about 30 ft down drifting put 3 lakers in the boat. Also, the campsite near the Moss lake portage is great if you can get it. Enjoy!
