Ticks

I always said that. When you have permethrin clothes on the ticks walk like they are on stilts with legs stretched out likeit is hot to touch.

Whenever I read BWCA trip reports and see photos of folks in shorts and t-shirts I question if they are aware of the dangers of ticks and their unique infections.
Good article! Glad to see the positive news published. Never have I found a tick on me in the 9 yrs I've been canoeing in the BWCA. Always retreat my socks--heels and upwards, pants and LS shirts, before a trip. I even spray outside of my hat & baseball cap to discourage the skeeters too.

Ticks suck, both figuratively and literally.

I’m going to treat my clothes tomorrow afternoon. My moto is better living through chemicals.
