What is the fastest/easiest way into LLC from Agnes? I took the two smaller portage route about ten years ago and I remember the second one being a killer up and down.

Is it better to take the 113 rod out of NE Agnes and paddle the boulder river into LLC?

We always take the one longer portage. Not a fan of the second portage out of Agnes either. It’s also much faster..... unless you start fishing the river on the way in.

That 115 rod portage out of Agnes is a pretty one, a little squishy on the Boulder River end, but the river is really pretty too. I’ll be coming out heading south from Iron Lake that way in a few weeks.
