Will be headed to Finger on a solo early July. Any tips for finding myself a walleye dinner?

There's an island with a campsite on it...good site. Even if you don't get that site, fish by/around the big boulder island NW (not far at all) from main island.

Jig and leech, or plain hook with small split shot and live bait of your choice. You shouldn't have a problem catching dinner...
