I will base camp on Saganagons during the week of August 20th. I've never been that late in the season. I need a little help with summer-pattern fishing, lure choice and technique. I've always been last week of June.
Also, I'm taking several newbies with me. Some are going to use open hammocks for sleeping. Will there be much of a situation with mosquitoes that time of the year? I know it depends on several variables, but in general. Thanks.

Bugs will be on the decline or mostly gone in late August which is a perfect time of year for a Q trip. I would recommend The Sandy Beach campsite SE of Deadman Portage. Cast Wally Divers on the point SW of the campsite in the evening. There is a nice feeding drop off on the south side of the point.
