Taking my two teenage kids and our dog in at Mudro on Friday. Trying to calculate how long it will take to get to Lower Basswood Falls for a day trip from Horse, or to camp somewhere near the falls on day two. I did a solo there early May of last year, when the water was really high. Smooth paddling, aside from the three designated portages. Naturally, it took a bit longer to get back upstream to Horse with the stronger current. I assume the water levels will be lower, although the rain this weekend could help. Will be talking with ranger station and outfitters right before we leave as well. Any feedback from folks who are familiar with that general area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
