Hoping for an assist here:
I am looking for tie down loops made from nylon strapping that I have glued on the bottom of my present canoes to allow tying down of equipment as I go through rapids. It keeps the gear in the canoe if a flip occurs. I have used them for years but looking for them now I cannot find any that are not metal or hard nylon that requires screwing them in. Those tend to get in the way of stepping in the canoe while the soft strapping is less intrusive and still highly effective.
Bought my last ones at Canoecopia 5 years ago and am unable to locate any at this point.
Thanks in advance for any leads that may be shared.

You could make some using nylon webbing strap. Fold a short piece over, melt a hole through both ends and install a grommet. Fasten at seat bottoms, thwart ends.
