Are there any crappie in the South Kawishiwi river ? Entry point #32. I know Gabbro has them but was curious about the river thanks!

Like Oldtown 13, never found them in the South Kawishiwi, lol.

Thanks for the heads up going late next May. Wanted to try for them. Should be in there spawning areas then.

I've never personally caught crappie on the South Kawishiwi but I have caught the biggest bluegill and largmouth of my life along with some really nice smallies, pike and walleyes so if you don't catch any crappy you should have some great fishing.

We were there the 3rd week of June, and we ran into them jigging for walleye. We were not expecting them, but ran into them several times during the week fishing for walleyes.
