Any ideas on how to clean a Kondos Boundary Waters Journal food pack? Have had it for years, never needed cleaning, well cared for. This is the insulated pack with the zipper. A jug of salsa leaked andp soiled the inside.

Did it soak through seams/different layers? A jug, eh? If I were in same dilemma I'd handwash with mild solution of dawn + some 5% vinegar, rinse, then let dry in sunshine, inside out. Then set it out in sun again to ensure exterior is completely dry before storage. Whatever it takes to be rid of the potential for mold growth.
Maybe the vinegar would discolor but it's not harsh like Clorox. Depends on colorfastness of your gear. Spot test first.

Thanks for the suggestion. Not sure if it leaked through the seams. It was one of the plastic pour bottles. I always put stuff in a plastic ziplock bag after opening, but this was inadvertently stowed. Will try your suggestion. It would easily dry out today.

Go light on the dish soap and rinse it really well. If you have any Nikwax Techwash I would use that instead of the dish soap. The vinegar is a good idea.
