4 days and counting till we head up north again! heading out Monday from EP 23 for a week and exiting the same way we came in. plan is to go thru mudro, sand pit, TCM, horse, horse river. definitely want to camp at Lower basswood falls. anything else of interest we should know about or plan to see while we are in the area? this is primarily a fishing trip so any pointers on that would be appreciated as well.

We don't go primarily to fish, but we've had good luck catching dinner in Friday Bay on multiple trips. It doesn't sound like completing the loop up from Basswood Falls through Friday Bay and then down through Gun, Fourtown, and out is your priority, but Thursday and Friday bays are both nice.

+1 on fishing Crooked Lake bays. Not sure about fishing that area, but falls are nice. Horse river is a challenge but beautiful. I am going on EP16 on monday and plan on being to LBF area some where between the 19th and the 21st. Maybe I will see you guys. I will be soloing a Prism. Have a great time!

Never went in that entry point...wish I could have seen the chain saw saloon when it was still there.
