Seriously? throw your phone in the lake and get on with life.....

I still remember when my kiddo found "bars" of service inside the bw and said "that's just wrong!" Even as he had to make a call to test it out.

I'm finding that more and more. I told the kids I only use it for weather. And it is really handy for that. It was a nice tool to know what was coming.

I forgot to turn my phone off in July until we made camp on the northern border of Lake One. I had service but didn’t use it. On the way out, I felt bad but did try to check the radar because of lightening and having little kids along. Of course, the electrical storm disrupted the service.

It’s got to be awesome. Smell me some pines, bro. Lay easy in your hammock. I’ve never been in a hammock. I don’t know if I need to. Never had sushi either. Don’t know if I need that in my life either. If I was forced by knifepoint, I would choose the hammock.

It was a pleasure meeting you last Sunday on Caribou. Thanks for the tip for seeing moose on Horseshoe. We spent a couple nights there later in the week but didn't see any. We talked to a guy that stayed at the same sight that you did and he was skunked also. The person staying at the sight just south of you said that she saw several as well. We hope the rest of your trip went well.

I made a mistake a few years ago and allowed a teenage, love sick boy take his phone......BAD MOJO.

All he did was whine about being homesick and wanting his gurlfriend.

Then he got news of a favorite family friend dying and he was pissed that I'd not leave ( along with the 4 others), and take him home....

He's a good kid. He just didn't understand the rules why phones are not allowed, and then why we would not leave under the conditions.........

Oh well.

Northwoods man it wasn't me that you talked to I haven't been to caribou in 4 years.

we were on horse last week and my buddy had service, i leave my phone in the car at the EP.
