Our Manitowish Waters WI calendar said there was supposed to be a Lioness Pasta Night at the community center Saturday night to raise money for fire department. So we thought we'd go. Almost through the door before I realized, wait a second... this is a wedding! Outside the door though, a Kevlar Wenonah full of ice with a BWCA.com sticker on the bow.

Who let them fill a Kevlar canoe with ice? Isn't that what aluminum canoes are for. :)

Great question, everyone knows that an aluminum canoe is far superior than a Kevlar model for everything, including being used for a beer cooler!! :)

That is awesome! Congrats on your wedding. I love Manitowish Waters. My grandmother was a lioness back in the early 80s. Love the chain, have not been up in a long time.

Our home is near the Lions club facility in Manitowish Waters, the Lions were very accomadating to us and let us use the pavilion and the kitchen for FREE. We will be making a donation to the club when we send our thank you cards for sure.

The Flying Moose has been in weddings in Manitowish Waters before. October 8th, 2016 at the Discovery Center. ( I used one of their royalex models for the beer)

Congrats on the wedding.

Yep a lot of nice ( no great) paddling it that area.

The one thing I did notice about that area is how it can get hammered with the effect of the BIG LAKE in the winter up here. Make the Green Bay area seem balmy compared to what they get up there.

Congrats on the wedding. Pretty funny that a forum member wandered by.
