Halloween's not what it used to be. (what is?)

Our neighborhood has turned over, not a lot of younger kids, times are limited by the city to just 90 minutes. (Can they even do that legally?) Everybody has to be politically correct with costumes to not upset anybody. Just not as fun anymore.

Oh well, only 8 and 1/2 more months til our next trip!

I like the BDB idea. Or some dark chocolate.

What's with "trunk or treat"? Maybe for kids under 3, but do they really know what's going on anyways? Our towns treating hours were 4-6. As I remember, half the fun was going at night in the dark, even with parents tagging along. Keeping kids safe is one thing. Being overprotective is another.

Just got off my buddies hay wagon that he pulled with a 1948 McCormick tractor. 14 of us on there, and the kids had a blast.

Favorite halloween candy is? Maybe a Babe Ruth for me?

I remember growing up in west central MN. Halloween usually meant cool weather and often light rain. The weather changed today down here in the Dallas area and it's in the low to mid 50's with a light rain most of the day. Just like the old days. Then there was the Halloween blizzard of '91.
