Finally got around to making one for myself. I've been thinking about doing this ever since I saw them in the Piragis catalog. This one is a gift for a co-worker, I asked him what his favorite lake was under the guise of planning my next trip.

I've always wanted to make the rapids caution sign with the broken canoe. Only see those on the rivers. Can't find an image on google though. hmm.

This is a great idea for not only lakes but other signage. Now I have to get busy!

I was kinda bummed when they discontinued selling canoe rests, too. I thought one would be nice in my living room. Haha.

Router and an modification to a sign making kit. For some reason the makers of sign kits only provide templates to make horizontal signs.

I was thinking about offering to take orders for something like $1 a letter plus shipping and then donating anything over cost back to this website but I'm going to be a one armed bandit (rotator cuff surgery) right after Christmas and won't be able to make them for a quite awhile.
