Hi all,
I'm starting to plan my BWCA trip for next year, looking at first week of September. I'm just curious what everyone's thoughts are as to a good lake for walleye and smallie fishing. I don't need trophies, just looking to keep myself busy for a week and get plenty to eat every night. Thanks

Big Moose and Shell Lake are good walleye and smallie lakes.

Basswood has good numbers and size of both species.

Consider Ogishkemuncie. That's where we will be the last week of August.

What entry point do you use to get to Ogishkemuncie?

Meeds, Vista and Caribou(off of Clearwater) come to mind
