Take a pocket pita bread and slice it along it's edge from 10:00 to 2:00. Gently spread the pita apart to make its "pocket". Stuff the pita with some cheeses you've brought along, some hard pepperoni and other hard salamis that keep well. While stuffing the pits, sprinkle some dried tomato powder inside as well.
Rub the outside of the pita bread with olive oil and sprinkle some italian seasoning on it (Parsely, oregano, basil)
Wrap in heavy duty aluminum foil and set off to the side of the fire for a few minutes per side depending on how hot the fire is. I like to find the sweet spot where I can hold my hand to the heat for four seconds. I use a rock or the side of the ring to hold the wrapped pita upright.

They can be easily assembled in camp or brought in frozen.

I love the smell of silnylon in the morning. It smells like........victory!
