All make great lunches paired with foil-packed smoked salmon, summer sausage, peanut butter, slice of parmesan cheese, or just by themselves. I need my crunch.

Wasa Hearty Crispbread--those Swedish crackers and MRE crackers, yes, really.the crispbreads are good with meat and cheese lunches and the MRE crackers go with the peanut butter and jam meals.
i tried the crackers with dry vegs and or herbs but they leave an aftertaste.the MRE crackers come in packs that are sturdy enough on their own while the Wasa ones need to travel in a plastic box.

it's just a level trail thru the woods.

I'm with you on the Ak-mak. It's a great cracker but it sounds like one of the alien lines from Mars Attacks.

Sit back, relax, have a home brew.

Good 'ol Seasoned RyeCrisp is still my favorite, ...and they come in smaller, very-well sealed, air tight packages.

My favorites are Bretons. The original wheat ones. They come in a long, skinny box one round cracker wide. We use them instead of any kind of bread for our lunches.

I also like the Nut-Thins but haven't taken them on a canoe trip. Our daughter has celiac disease and can't have gluten, so we always have a box of them around.

Triscuit thins are my new favorite. Same Triscuit taste but thinner and crisper (if that is possible). also more durable.

Triscuits, Wheat Thins or Kentucky Firecrackers.......Just made a post on them.

Those are good. (the triangle shaped ones, right?). I like how the are smaller than regular triscuits and are one bite. I dip them directly into my hummus container and don't worry about "double dipping" because of their smaller size.

Love crackers, a staple of mine in the bdub and anywhere. Top of the list for me are ritz, triscuits and flipsides. But, not sure I've met a cracker I haven't liked...

Keep your line wet....
