Did you get a girth measurement as well?

If not, the wisdom of the Internet seems to be somewhere in the 13.5 to 15.5 pound range.

I was going to say between 10-15 pounds depending on girth so your numbers seem right on.

A 35.5 inch lake trout averages 15.1 pounds. That said I have seen 34 inch lake trout weight 12 pounds to 20 pounds(that was one big fat trout). Do you know what intrigues me more than the weight is being fortunate to catch a fish that long knowing it is 20 to 35 years old, probably about 25 years. It really makes you appreciate the area and how lucky you are.
