I distinctly remember my first morning waking up in my hammock. My first thought was...wow...nothing aches. I didn't feel like I needed to shift around to relieve a sore spot or aching joints. I didn't budge. Amazing. Anyone else have this experience?
The first couple of nights I woke up with lower back pain then changed the angle slightly more shallow and also raised the foot end a bit higher than the head end. That did the trick and I sleep great now.
In a tent I wake up with all kinds of aches. Not so in the Blackbird.
Ditto to all the above!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wake up with no aches and feel refreshed. Swing your legs outs, plant your feet, stand up and away you go vs crawling out of a tent and trying to stand up and straighten your back. I have a Blackbird for outdoors and a Traveler for indoors. I know they are not for all, but they work! On my hammock site they are sometimes referred to as Bear Burritos, don’t believe it. Don

That's been true with me from the first night on. When on the ground, it takes me a good half hour to get in the vertical position. I have to take ibuprofen just to get out of bed. In the hammock, I just drop out the bottom into my boots and head for the Jetboil to make coffee.

I've dealt with him on both of my purchases, and I second this. "
I just sent Brandon an email with a link to this thread to show our gratitude & recommendation for his products here in the "Up North". Gunny" I emailed withy Brandon last spring. He did not realize that his stuff was popping up all over the web. He was too busy and only checked HF.
