Hubby and I had a successful hammock hanging trip in the BW from May 9-14. We stayed at Rockwood Lodge and took the Meeds Lake entry point. We did a loop and stayed 1 night on Pillsbery, 2 on Omega, 1 on Gaskin and 1 on Horseshoe. I had my Warbonnet and hubby had his Switchback. I used a Jarbridge River UQ and my sleeping bag and never slept better on a camping trip. We woke up to frost on our tarp one morning which was by far the coldest night I've spent sleeping outdoors by choice. No sore hips or shoulders and I stayed nice and cozy every night. Hubby agreed that he now thinks hammocks are the way to go although he spent a lot of time adjusting/readjusting his suspension. I think that was mostly out of a need for something to do while we waited out the wind.
