leavin the concrete jungle for my son's (6yrs old) first trip. Staying at Trails End tonight and entering Larch tomorrow.
I have a green 16' penobscot with whitewolf decals. Stop and chat if you see us....

Enjoy your trip! Memories made and traditions started. Did the same thing with my 10 year old a couple weeks ago. I wish I would have taken him in years earlier.

Have a fantastic trip. Kind of envious. We were going in at Sawbill next Wednesday, me, Big J, Little J (11) and Little P (9). That was till I was stupid and broke wrist. Only 372 days till next trip. Always stay positive!!

I wish I were, I wish I might, I wish I was in the BWCA tonite!

JUst unpackin--- great trip-- will post more later-- but he is allready is asking about "when are we going to go again-- Dad?" and my favorite line from the whole trip was--- "Dad-- it's just so peaceful up here." Good times all around.

Likely going to take a little break as since May I have made three significant trips to the Arrowhead. (alot of miles from DSM). Probably try to squeeze something in late Sept or early Oct if the better half signs off.

Good to here it went well. Ihgope to trake my grand-daughter some day. She is 4 now. I was thinking 6 or 7. If I am still able.:)
