Not sure if this is to early or not to start thinking about this. Was about a year ago that I started planning, and setting this up, for last years Wing. Anyways, I still have use of the park, and will have plenty of firewood, and camping spots. If we get some more snow/rain the Kishwaukee river will hopefully be useful for paddling. Its been the lowest i've seen in 20 years and I hope that changes. I plan on having it the weekend May 3-5, that's one week after the MN wing. Let me know if your interested. Post your comments!

I'll have to miss it this year. My neighbor's son is getting married on the 4th.

quote AndySG: "Bob, I'm researching take out points west of your private park. I NEED to paddle the Kishwaukee Gorge."
Andy, lotsa options all the way down to the Rock River (and beyond). Shoot me an email if you have any questions.
Bob, I'll be there. Let me know when you wanna haul firewood!

quote blutofish1: "Sounds like one I can make. Bout a 5 hour trip for me. Any fishing close by? I have friends in Roscoe I can visit also."
Blutofish, the Kish is a wadeable stream (depending on levels, of course) that holds a good population of smallies. Also has the occasional pike and walleye and it's good catfish water as well.
