Has anyone seen or used these? I would think carbide studded boots would be pretty slick. Icejack

A friend of mine bought a different set of Korkers for portaging. He said they (the add on soles) come off while portaging at the worst possible time. Maybe as used as a winter boot they might work better.

That's what I'm wondering. Exactly what I don't like about ice cleats.
