Hey, great to hear ya made it. Sounds like you are going to do it again!
You mentioned wet wood. How was the gathering of it? Pretty extensive to find downed wood, or was it just buried under all the snow?
And a nice setup too. Was that a rental? How well did the chimney fair going straight up like that?

Yeah, I hope do it again next year with a lot changes. I gathered the wood that was downed but kind of stuck in another tree, but it still had snow on it. Plus it snowed while I was there. The gathering job was not hard, there is a lot of it there. I bought all of my gear, so I'm in the for the long term...luckily there was little to no wind to blow the chimney around. I recently bought an elbow and another straight pipe to try next time.
